Accommodation

A cosy, comfortable cottage

The cottage is surprisingly spacious inside. It has full gas central heating and double-glazed windows.

Downstairs there is a living room/dining area and a beautiful kitchen.

The living room has a large flat-screen TV, DVD and CD player. Quality oak furniture and soft leather furnishings complement the charm of this traditional Cumbrian cottage. There is an extending dining table which will comfortably seat four people.  A cast-iron, living flame gas fire is very welcome on those cooler evenings, along with a range of books, games and jigsaws for you to while away the hours.

The cottage is surprisingly spacious inside. It has full gas central heating and double-glazed windows.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom is beautifully fitted out with solid ash furniture. The king-size bed has sumptuous cream and red bedding – and a teddy if you forget your own. The large wardrobe and six-drawer dresser provides ample storage for all your clothes.

The rear bedroom with its pine furniture also enjoys beautiful views across the Caldbeck fells towards Skiddaw. Besides the comfortable single bed, there is a wardrobe and a large chest of drawers.

The family bathroom has a bath (with shower over), shaving socket and plenty of fluffy white towels.

Outside, a small, south-facing, enclosed terrace with patio table and chairs provides an area to sit and enjoy the view.
